May I respectfully add some most important parameters:
1) is you walker pet CPR/first aid certified? What is their emergency protocol?
2) how do you know when the walk began and ended? Do they software that gives you automatic notification of arrival and departure of the care giver?
3) how do you know where (and if) your dog was actually walked? Do they have GPS tracking software?
4) how do you book a walk/sleepover/etc? And how do you know it is booked correctly? Do they have online booking software?
5) how involved in the dog community are they? People who really care about dogs and cats passionately will always be involved in rescue, education and other give-backs to the community.
6) how flexible is their scheduling should a meeting come up after work and you need an extra walk or if you are ill and need to cancel a walk?
7) what is said about them by other clients (chat at dog park is invaluable) and on Yelp?
