Clean Your Floors and Entertain Your Dog: The iRobot

Are you annoyed from having too much dog hair on the floor? Well we found a solution where you can both clean your floors and entertain you dog – the iRobot Roomba! This little robot vacuum removes dirt, dust, pet hair and other debris all on its own. Your dog will likely also be entertained by this little iRobot going around the house. You can make it even more entertaining by putting treats or your dog‘s little toys on it.

Best of all, it reduces the amount of cleaning you have to do. The Roomba vacuums every section of your floor multiple times, getting under and around furniture and along wall edges, detecting dirt, avoiding stairs and navigating through loose wires to clean your home thoroughly. Some models even have HEPA filters. It also has great reviews on Amazon.

A few other great features:

  • Docks And Recharges – No need to hunt the Roomba down when the job is finished. The iRobot charges itself, returning to its home base to dock and recharge between cleanings.
  • Cleans On Schedule – The Roomba can be preset to vacuum when it’s convenient for you, up to seven times per week.
  • Lets You Know When The Bin Is Full – It has a full bin indicator to let you know when the bin is getting full and needs to be emptied.

Great Dry Dog Food – LiveFree by Dogswell

Dry Dog FoodDogswell recently sent us 3 bags of premium LiveFree dry dog food in salmon, lamb and chicken recipes to test. We are very careful about testing out dog food. First of all, we want our dog to have the best health and we understand you need to be very careful about switching a dog’s diet.

Secondly, our dog, Kobi, is really picky about food and treats. About 90% of the treats he’s offered, he does not eat. Sometimes, we’ll put out his food in the morning and he won’t eat it until later in the afternoon. As such, Kobi is a very discerning dog food taste tester – an aspirational NY Times (dog) food critic.

Taste Testing Begins!

We always check out the ingredients to make sure they’re top quality. Dog Food Advisor gave Dogswell LiveFree Dry Dog Food a 5 star rating (out of 5 stars).  Kobi already eats Dogswell Nutrisca, so we were very comfortable in trying out another Dogwell food brand. LiveFree is also made in the U.S.A..

What we also like about this dry dog food is that it’s ultra low glyemic, grain and potato free. It has NO grain, corn, wheat, soy, gluten, potatoes, tapioca, BHA/BHT, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. Our dog has a lot of allergies and since switching him to a grain free diet about a year ago, he has less allergy symptoms, i.e. less scratching.

So how did the test go?
